I started teaching flute and tutoring math while I was still in high school.  I have continued to teach either part-time or full-time since.  I was the middle school bank director at St. Michaels Catholic school in Greenfield, IN for 7 years.  I assisted and then directed a home school band for several years.  I directed two student flute choirs that performed at local churches and at CYO music contest.  I have also played multiple instruments and arranged music for a praise band.

I teach all ages of students and have worked with children with learning disabilities.  I try to build a rapport with my students and understand what their goals are for learning.  I tailor my instrucitonal style to the way that a student learns so that their experience is positive and fun.

Teaching is the most rewarding job in the world.  I am privileged to be able teach what I love most - music.
